About Alpha Sigma

Our Chapter, Alpha Sigma, was founded in 1951 at Arizona State University. Continually one of the most involved fraternities on the ASU campus, AΣ has always been involved in the Jewish community of Tempe and the greater Phoenix area.

Brothers of Alpha Epsilon Pi are one of the few fraternities on campus with a centralized location close to campus. During summer 2013, we secured one of the best housing situations of any fraternity at ASU. The AEPi Complex is located at 1416 S. Jentilly Lane and features 16 bedrooms, a gated courtyard, and a Jacuzzi. This location is right by campus, and is very close to other fraternities and Adelphi (sorority housing). The "plex" offers members who live in-house to have a very traditional college experience. Only a handful of the 22 IFC fraternities have centralized housing, and brothers of AEPi get to enjoy this rare amenity. The old AEPi house, designed by John J. Hausman, is located at 717 E. Alpha Drive and was used from 1963-2011; it was torn down Fall 2012.

Many people think fraternities are only about parties, but AEPi is a true brotherhood. While we do have amazing parties, along with our annual Spring Formal in Las Vegas, we pride ourselves on our community service, strong brotherhood events, and furthering our education. AEPi has the highest GPA nationally among all IFC fraternities, above a 3.0. Joining AEPi is the best way to experience college for any Jewish university student, and there is something here for everybody. Our brotherhood is very diverse and there is a niche for everyone.
